Robert Verle Jarnagin

Robert Jarnagin, 87, passed away June 13 ,2017, at Newton Health Care Center.  The son of Forrest and Florence (Curry) Jarnagin, Bob was born and raised in Newton, graduating from Newton High School.  After graduation he went to work for the Maytag Company where he drove a fork truck for 37 years.  One of Bob’s favorite hobbies was dancing, and he pursued it his entire life.  Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather.                                         In accordance with Bobs wishes there will be no funeral services.                                          Bob is preceded in death by his first wife Phyllis and his brother Ron Jarnagin.               Those left to honor Bob’s memory are his wife of 27 years, Lottie; his two daughters: Jody Fank and Jackie Saylor; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Brianne, Tyler, Taylor and Morgan, and 2 great grandsons: Landon and Jacoby;  2 step daughters: Andrea DeVore and Jill McMahon, 2 step grandchildren: Nathan and Megan, and 5 step great grandchildren: Alexis, Devon, Ryleigh, Dalton, and Brysen, his many good neighbors and friends.                                                                                                                                                    Johnson Funeral Service is honored to be providing arrangements.
