In Loving Memory of Mary Evelyn Edgerton

Mary Evelyn (Bodenstein) Edgerton was born July 29, 1924 in Campbell, Missouri, to Martin and Edna Menk Bodenstein.  She passed away July 26, 2017. Evelyn married Buford L. Edgerton on December 15, 1942.  Four daughters were born to them, Marilyn (Robert) Matthews, of Mingo, Iowa; Carolyn (Fred) Link of Maxwell, Iowa; Mary Kay Marl of Kansas City, Missouri; and Natalie Elvin of Fort Pierce, Florida. She and her husband were long-time residents of Mingo, Iowa, retiring to Bull Shoals Lake.  In June she moved to Accura Health Care in Baxter, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband Buford. She leaves a sister Johanna, her daughters and sons- in- law, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held August 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Newton.  A Visitation with the family will be held an hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at a later time.The family would be honored by any memorials directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
