John Paul

Born Earl Walter Paul, but known to everyone as John Paul, John was born to Clarence and Margarite Paul on March 10, 1932, in Des Moines, Iowa.  He entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Monday February 26, 2018 at the age of 85.  John married Marla Farr on May 5,1967.  He was a sign man his entire life.  He retired a couple years ago however he never "warmed" to the idea of retirement.  The most important thing in his life was his wife Marla, his family and his friends.  John died surrounded by his many family and friends.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, a brother and 2 sisters.                                                                   

John will be forever missed by his wife of 50 years, Marla Paul; his daughters Billie Jo Fielder, Johnna  Strege and Jackie Wood; his grandchildren Shawna Plummer, Jon Fetters, Jenny Carney, Patrice Pishney, JR Pishney, Natalie McKenney, Tim Taylor, Misty Steingrabe, and Travis Paul, his great-grandchildren; Aiden, Madison, Riley, Caroline, Gabe, Landon, Sydney, Kara, Alix, Landon, Caleb, Nicholas, Bryce, Brenden, Chester, Alexis, Eric, Calvin, Timmy, Alexys, Keegan, MaKenna, and Tatianna; his brothers 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephew, many cousins, other relatives, his great neighbors, the best customers and his countless friends.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Bethany New Life Christian Church at 3565 NE 56th Street, in Altoona.  Visitation Services will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00 –8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
